Why does a company choose to call callable bonds?

Why does a company choose to call callable bonds?
Often because interest rates have gone down, and they can issue newbonds or borrow money cheaper than the interest rate that is on thebonds. The other likely situation is that they made enough moneythat they have the cash to pay off the bonds and don't need toborrow it any more.
