What are the responsibilities of a parish priest?
Details of responsibility vary by Order and Congregation. In the broader sense, the Parish Priest is the head of the Congregation. Duties are administrative, financial and spiritual. He is not only responsible for these things within his Parish but in most cases, he has a superior in the Dioceses - usually a Bishop - to whom he needs to be accountable.
