Why is mamnagement so important in an oganisation?
In a large organization there are so many different tasks going on at the same time, the workers could not keep up with them all. It became necessary to choose one person to oversee the others and help them divide up the work into smaller manageable parts.

That is where the word management came from. The person who manages all the different tasks that have to be put together into one unit. In most business, the day to day work often brings up questions that the office worker has to refer to the people who are responsible for making decisions based on the business model they want to present. It is not up to the worker to make that kind of decision.
