Why is it compulsory to vote?
There is nowhere in the United States that it is compulsory to vote. Compulsory voting is most common in South America. Australia may be an exception;
a democracy with compulsory participation in voting, and with enforcement. Several European countries and some of the Pacific island nations have compulsory voting, but often do not enforce it.
