What is Methyl amyl ketone used for?
2-heptanone (also methyl n-amyl ketone) is a solvent used in photoresists, paints, lacqures, and other polymer coatings. It smells very sweet and somewhat fruity, but is not acutely toxic, but contact should be avoided.
