Is there any law in England regarding employment contracts not being made available to the employee until after a three month work trial?
An employer does not have to provide you with a contract at all. But if you are being employed for more than 1 month then you must be provided with a written statement of terms within 2 months.

This is just a description of all the terms of your employment such as duties, pay, sick pay, holidays etc. It will be signed by your employer and you must sign to say you have received it. However your signature does not mean you agree with it, just a signature of receipt.

If your employer refuses to give you when you can go to the Employment Tribunals where they will issue what they think it should be. If there is a dispute such as unfair dismissal and it is discovered that you were never given your written statement, then the tribunal will award you more (usually 2-4 weeks pay).
