Would it be useless to double major in Econ-Accounting and Environmental Science. What kind of jobs would you be able to get using both?
If you are hoping to get a job using skills and knowledge from both areas, then absolutely not. But if you are thinking about working in an area using the skills and knowledge from only one of those majors then I would suggest minoring in the unrelated subject because of both cost and work load. You will inevitably learn valuable lessons with either or both majors, so that is really what it comes down to.
