Is cultivation same as nomadic?
They are not the same. Cultivation is farming which allowed people to give up their nomadic habits of following herds (either wild that migrated or domestic which were moved to follow availability of wild grasses for the domestic animals to graze upon) or moving to take advantage of fruits or vegetables that were in season in different locations. Cultivation allowed people to stay put to harvest crops that they grew either for their own consumption or to feed to domestic animals.
