Which one of his fourteen points did Woodrow Wilson feel was the most important?
The fourteenth point, which established the League of Nations seems to be Wilson's favorite and attracted the most attention. It was to be a forum for nations to discuss and settle their grievances without having to resort to war. He pushed hard to get it included in the peace treaty and later traveled over the United States in a futile effort to gain support for it.
His fifth point on settling colonial claims and which included the right of colonies to pursue their own best interests may have been actually been the most important step towards world peace.
