What Is An SDN?

What Is An SDN?
Included in itsenforcement efforts, OFAC puts out a listing of people and firmspossessed or controlled by, or acting for or with respect to,specific nations. Additionally, it lists people, groups, andorganizations, for example terrorists and drugs traffickersdesignated under programs that aren't country-specific. With eachother, such people and firms are known as "Specifically DesignatedNationals" or "SDNs." Their assets are blocked and U.S. persons areusually prohibited from coping with them.
