What education do you need to become a vet?
Students who wish to enter a veterinary program typically obtainbachelor's degrees in science-related areas, like zoology,molecular biology, chemistry, animal science and biochemistry.
In some instances, veterinary programs do not require students tohold 4-year degrees; however students may experience difficultygaining admittance into veterinary programs without degrees. Thosewho have not completed undergraduate school generally need to havecompleted at least 45-90 semester hours.
