Itis usually at least half the cost of a normal seat on the plane.The airliner will then give you a box that you place yourself in,and you are brought to the loading station. The cargo loaders tapeup the box, and punch holes in the top for breathing convenience.You are then loaded to the under carriage of the plane with therest of the luggage. The service started around 2004, 2005 whenplane ticket prices sky rocketed, and the public needed a cheaperalternative to flying. Southwest is most famous for this service.
