Can a 208V motor run off 220V?
Most motors that I see are rated for 208/230 volt. The usual tollerance is plus or minus 10%. 10% of 208 is 20.8, plus the 208 volts you say it is rated, would be 228.8 volts maximum. So you should be ok.
