It's important to know what you like because you will spend your life doing it since it takes years of school to become a doctor or lawyer. Lawyers spend a lot of time writing and answering telephone queries. They are most often always dealing with people who are stressed, anxious and sometimes very unpleasant. Lawyers are under a lot of stress when they have to go to trial, which can be often, according to the type of law you decide to practice. On the plus side, the salary of a lawyer is high once they establish themselves and they generally work normal business hours.

A doctor deals with sick people. Although some doctors have high salaries, they also have high student loans to pay. Many doctors have to work long hours and when they are not working, they are on call which means they could be called into work at a moment's notice, leaving very little for the family when plans have been made.

Getting accepted into law school and medical school will require a high college gpa. Medical school is especially tough to get into.

It seems to me that you should take classes in college that will help you know what you like. Biology or anatomy are two classes that if you don't like them, you probably won't like med school. You can take a political science class or an ethics class to see if you like the kind of stuff that lawyers study.
