What is mapin number?
MAPIN is the name for the Market Participants and Investors' Integrated Database, which is being created by SEBI to enhance investor protection. The MAPIN Database will allot Unique Identification Number (UIN) which would be required to be quoted by all corporate investors while carrying out securities transactions in lieu of the Unique Client Code (UCC).
