How do you set up a pub?

How do you set up a pub?
In the majority of cases Public Houses are in place and either - Brewery controlled (their outlet) or a free house (has a private owner running them).
There are many on the market, especially at the time of writing this as the down turn in economics has forced many to close through lack of trade. To run a Public House requires the manager, if its brewery held to apply for the post , if accepted the brewery will allocate a public house of similar size to undertake training. Its not as simple as just "pulling a pint". There are skills to be developed such as stock and order, cash handling, Liquor Licencing requirements (you will have to prove to a licencing Magistrate that you are competent to run a licenced premises). There are in some breweries a requirement to provide a "bond" - An amount of money paid to the brewery before allowing you to run the premises which if you default on rent and liquor payments this BOND is retained by the brewery.
To learn More contact the Brewery's in your local area and they can provide a tremendous amount of information
