They are the perfect option for scanning objects with high-water content. High-frequency tags work superior on objects made of metal. Also, here larger amounts of data can be transferred more quickly, and the areas of application are also versatile. RFID tags with the ultra-high frequency have the highest data transfer rate. However, they utilise more power and are less likely to pass through materials. Also, because of the high production costs, these tags are employed only in long-term transponder devices.
