Dell laptop and when you turn it on it says AV2009exe has stopped working what can you do to restore it?
Don't restore it, delete it and it's associated files. Antivirus 2009 is counterfeit spyware. It is malware that has come to you piggybacked on a downloaded video codec; often but not always a Trojan called zlob from adult site downloads. It throws up random pop-ups to try to get you to install it. The related link has information on methods of removal, there are some horror stories too.
