Why a business want its workforce happy and efficient?
Because a happy and efficient workforce means more revenue for the company. If its workforce is unsatisfied, unmotivated, and slacking off, the quality and quantity of work done by the workforce will be less. That's why companies spend millions of dollars in compensation, employee training, benefits, extracurricular company-wide activities to give the workforce a sense of satisfaction and happiness so that they will be happy working for their companies, and thus, be more proactive and efficient at executing their tasks effectively.
